    how the hell would you get to the top and stuff to like build the thing, only way is to like use some complicated scaffold and even then it'd be a trek havin to get more sand where you need iy and when gettin the scaffold down you'd probs knock it over and what bout keepin it wet cos in the sun the sand would dry out and like it wouldn't keep its shape it would just turn into a mound of sand lol

    I don't know what the thing is that is used but there is stuff you can combine with the sand to make it stay so water doesn't destroy it. I've seen sand sculptures that were nearly as hard as rock and impervious to water. However that definitely didn't take 10 years to make maybe a month if that.

    This looks like part of a sand sculpture competition. I used to participate in street painting festivals, and sometimes there would be a sand sculpture demo. This was probably completed in two days of intensive work. The comment about ten years may mean that he has been repeating this particular sculpture for that long, kind of like perfecting the performance of a piece of music. The title is misleading, but it sure gets people to view it, doesn't it?
